This week we will be reading "The Big Trip" to compare and contrast characters in a story. Please talk with you children about different ways to travel and get places. Students will be learning to spell words with the long "e" sound.

We are very excited about the new year and ready to work hard! This week our story is "Let's Go to the Moon!" We will identify the main idea and supporting details. Our phonics skills is long "o" and long "u" words. In Math we will learn how to use doubles to solve double plus 1 and doubles plus 2.
